Abstract

[1]  Using the data of the observations at auroral observatory Molodezhnaya (Antarctic, L = 6.3 ), a similarity is found in the shape of the wave packets amplitudes envelope of giant pulsations to solitons. The relation is analyzed between the maximum amplitude ( A ), the carrier in frequency ( f ), and the width of wave packets ( t ) for 30 cases of observations of the Pg pulsations having the form of separated wave packets. It is shown that the maximum amplitude of wave packets depends linearly on 1/t f1/2. We suggest that some Pg pulsations present nonlinear structures having the properties of solutions.
