Abstract

[1]  A joint consideration of the anomalous ionograms registered on board Mir space station (and interpreted as ionospheric irregularities with sharp lateral gradients) and macroirregularities of the ionosphere detected by ground-based ionosondes. A hypothesis is proposed and analyzed that these irregularities detected by two principally different methods have a seismogenic nature.
