Full text documents of both journals are accessible only for subscribers (see Subscribe page for more detail).

AGU is willing to provide a free access to the International Journal of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy for users from Former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries. From the Free Domain List one may know if his/her client computer belong to the one of listed domains. Free domain access is also set for the Russian Journal of Earth Sciences.

Free access is provided by the mirror sites of two journals installed at the Geophysical Center, Russian Academy of Sciences (http://elpub.wdcb.ru/journals/ijga/ and http://elpub.wdcb.ru/journals/rjes/). The content of these sites is identical to the content of AGU sites (http://www.agu.org/journals/ijga/ and http://www.agu.org/WPS/rjes/ correspondingly). GCRAS server, as well as the AGU server, provides free access to abstracts, tables of contents, and ancillary information related to both journals for everybody. Free access to full-text documents is provided only for visitors from Free Domain List. If you are sure that your computer is connected to one of "free domains", and you have no access to full-text documents please use the following procedure:

1. Click on   CHECK DOMAIN  button here

2. Small window which will appear after clicking on button contains IP address (second line) and domain name (third line) of your computer.

3. If the last fragment of your domain name is included into the Free Domain List this means that you have free access to full-text papers at the eos.wdcb.ru server. Go ahead and read them!

4. If third line contains no domain name or it is replaced with the IP address this means that network parameters of your computer are not included into DNS database. Please ask the system administrator of your local computer network to include your computer into DNS database, then try this procedure once again.

5. If for some reasons your computer may not be included into DNS database (due intranet policy or public Internet restrictions) you may request free registration on journal's mirror site filling in FDL Registration Form.
